Gwen Muse-Evans is the President and Founder of GME Enterprises, a management consulting firm specializing in risk management, operations management, and housing finance advisory services for corporate, nonprofit, and government clients. She now focuses on strategic initiatives, thought leadership, and select client engagements while partnering with CEO Ynette Evans to guide GME’s growth.

25+ Years of Fortune 50 Risk Leadership.

During her 25+ year tenure in financial services, Gwen held multiple high profile executive roles and successfully implemented risk management platforms at several Fortune 50 companies. Most notably, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for the Single Family business at Fannie Mae from 2001 to 2014, where she helped lead national policy responses and housing retention solutions during the Great Recession.

 
  • Led risk governance and internal control programs for large, complex financial institutions.

  • Had policy development and approval responsibility for Fannie Mae’s Selling and Servicing Guides, which set national standards for secondary mortgage market eligibility.
